She is running through a forrest, her heart beating as if it was going to blow out of her chest. 
She can feel something dark behind her, gaining speed every time she takes a single breath.
She can’t help but feel as if this was never going to end; the fear, the anger, the tears. 
She just wants to wake up, wipe away her memory and never be tortured with her past and these thoughts again. 
But she isn’t able to disappear. 
She looks back to see nothing there, but she doesn’t stop running. 
She can’t.
She knows that it is only a matter of time before it would come after her again, only this time,
she had a head start. 
 

As teenagers and young adults, we sometimes believe in fairytale moments. 
That someone is going to magically sweep us off of our feet and that we’ll fall madly in love and that will be it. 
End of story.
After a few broken hearts we realize this is a very rare thing to come by and that it might not exist at all.
As people of the human race, we naturally long and yearn for companionship, starting from the first time we open our eyes.
We don’t want to be alone. 
We go searching for love every where we go.

As a Christian I know that God has a plan for my love life.
He knows my heart and my desires, I trust that everything will eventually be okay.
But before anyone can have any real love, we have to understand what God says about it. 
The most famous Bible quote about love is 1Corinthians 13:4-8 : 

 ”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.”

God tells us exactly what we need in our relationships. Loud and clear, no need to explain it. But without loving God and having him in our lives, we can’t have this perfect relationship he has planned for us. 
You can never truly love to your full capacity until you know Gods love.  
Because God is Love.
